Karachi Stock Exchange: A Safe Haven ?

` The world's most dangerous place.' This way Pakistan was defined by The Economist on January 3rd. The country was given this title among other things because of the assassination of ex-premier Bhutto and the riots which followed. Some weeks later The Economist again dedicated an article to Pakistan, this time titled: `The world's most dangerous haven'. Those who dare to gamble on the stock markets might want to try their luck in Pakistan right now. The Pakistani Stock Market ( Karachi Stock Exchange) is pointed out as the best performing index in Asia this year. Somehow political turmoil does not necessarily prevent a market from performing very well. The economy of Pakistan is expected to grow around 6.5-7% over the year 2008.

I have also added a so called Forex Chart. It displays foreign exchange rates live or in real time.

Live Currency Converter Added

I found this free currency calculator. Ive added it to the html layout. Pretty handy. I think it uses live data from the foreign exchange markets.

Visibility for the Stock Market Trends blog

To increase the visibility of this blog i did alot of reading. One of the important is issues is the so called SEO ( Search Engine Optimization)

It appears one can make backlinks via Social Bookmarking sites. My first test will be backlinking via my new Technorati.com profile.

Forex section added

Today i added a new section to my website. Alongside the Stock Market Indices section one can now find Forex.

Added World Indices section: Dow Jones, NASDAQ ...

Since I am new to building a website I use a simple CMS, or Centent Management System. I succesfully made a content page in the Stock Market Index section on my site. Basically it consists of some comments on the S&P 500 and a accompanying image. I hope to add alot of pages about NASDAQ Dowjones etc. in the coming days.
